This is the new look for our website. We redo our own website every couple of years to demonstrate some of the latest web technology. This time we have completely redone the site taking full advantage of the latest CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) technology. We are also using the latest version of Adobe Dreamweaver, CS4!

For the Information Center portion of the website, we are using a Content Management System know as Joomla.

Our latest website is: http://kimhillonline.com.  Kim Hill is a freelance writer in Gilbert, Arizona.  Her site includes a large sampling of her articles and other works.  

Kim’s work is all scanned from the original publications.  Because of the size some of them would be if displayed as PDF files, we chose to display them as jpg images, with each jpg as a page of its own.  While this approach was a little more time consuming, it meant the files were about 20% the size of the equivalent PDF file, so our user experience is much better.

We recently completed a new website: http://thebestfreelancer.com.  This is the website for Leigh Ann Dewey, a freelance writer in San Diego, California.  The site includes many samples of her work, as well as her resume, all in PDF format.

Etelligent1 is a Scottsdale, Arizona based company that provides high-end research, analysis, financial reporting, paralegal services, executive administrative services and other consulting services to corporate clients via the internet.

This website has a couple interesting features: 1) two Flash animations running in the header - an animated logo and a scrolling banner message, and 2) the use on the Services and Heidi pages of a image swapping technique to create a pop-up window effect that isn’t really a pop-up window.  It always works and isn’t turned off by the users pop-up blocker.

Our latest website is for The Pest Sales Training Company and can be found at: http://pestcontroltrainer.com   The company provides sales and technical training to pest control technicians and termite inspectors, to help them become an extended sales force for their company.  The company provides seminars and consulting services nationwide.
